Leila and Marley

I admit I have been a bit lazy and have not updated my blog with the past two drawings I have done. No more procrastinating, here they are. This portrait of two little dogs I did this summer (and I didn’t get around to posting it until winter!) These two dogs belong to a very important army couple we knew while my husband and I were stationed in Hawaii. General Tate was my husband’s commander who he deployed with all 3 times! His wife played important roles back home for all us army wives. They adore their dog Leila and always took her everywhere. When they moved out of Hawaii they got another dog Marley. They are so cute together and I was so pleased to have been asked to create this work of art for their home.
